A collection of silver bullion coins from the Somali African Wildlife Elephant series. These coins are struck in fine silver with purity levels of .999 and .999.9, as visible on the obverse. Issued by the Somali Republic, each coin holds a legal tender face value of 100 Shillings. The obverse of each coin features an annually changing design of African elephants within their natural habitat, accompanied by the inscriptions AFRICAN WILDLIFE, ELEPHANT, 1 oz Ag, and the respective silver purity. The reverse displays the coat of arms for the Somali Republic, featuring a crowned shield with a central star supported by two leopards atop crossed lances and palm fronds. Mintage years visible within this collection include 2013, 2017, 2018, and 2020. All coins are presented in clear plastic protective capsules.
Weight per coin: 1 oz t.Pickup is Friday May 1 from Noon to 3 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is $5/lot. If you are going to wire you will need to make sure it has cleared to us. Cash is king.
