Description
A collection of Pepsi-Cola promotional items and advertising ephemera, primarily featuring lithographed tin construction with Victorian-style graphics. The group is anchored by several 13 inch round serving trays and large rectangular trays featuring the Gibson Girl motif and the slogan Drink Pepsi-Cola 5 cents. The assortment includes multiple round tin coasters, oval tip trays, and lidded oval tins with similar decorative transfers. Also present is a 1984 commemorative tray from The Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Zanesville, Ohio, titled Crossing the Y Bridge, featuring a sepia-toned illustration and a printed history of the landmark on the reverse. The collection is completed by several small rectangular plastic trays marked Made in Italy, a set of drinking glasses with a red and blue stained-glass style logo, and a pair of glass salt and pepper shakers in the form of miniature Pepsi bottles.
