Description
A collection of vintage sports-themed dolls and related ephemera, primarily featuring football and baseball player figures. The dolls are constructed with cloth bodies and molded heads made of composition or similar materials. Details include hand-painted facial features, molded sports gear such as helmets and caps, and miniature accessories like footballs and baseballs. Several dolls bear a JAPAN mark on the reverse of their heads, and one larger figure features the name TOMMY handwritten on the neck. The lot also contains a small printed illustration captioned RED GRANGE, CIRCA 1926 and a miniature dark-toned football-shaped object.
