Description
This lot features an unframed lithograph by Joan Miro, identified as a work published for the 1968 exhibition at Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul. The piece is rendered on cream-toned paper and showcases an abstract composition with bold red, blue, and green primary colors, black calligraphic lines, and ink splatters. Included with the lot is a separate dark-toned wood frame with a silver-gilt inner lip and a cream mat with a red inner accent border. The backing board of the frame retains a gallery label from Meridian Gallery identifying the subject as Constellations and the artist as J. Miro.
