Lot 9585:
Description
This comprehensive collection features twelve professionally framed pieces celebrating the history and athletics of The Ohio State University. The sports highlights include a color photograph from the September 13, 2003, game against NC State, featuring an unverified autograph by tight end Ben Hartsock (number 88) inscribed “Go Bucks!”. The assembly contains two distinct aerial photographs of the 1997 Rose Bowl victory over Arizona State and a “Special Edition” panoramic print of the 2003 National Championship by Chatham Fine Art Inc. Artistic campus representations include a limited edition watercolor print of Ohio Stadium by R. Greenleaf (numbered 137/900) and a series of prints depicting University Hall, The Main Library, Mirror Lake Hollow, and the College of Dentistry. The collection is rounded out by a 35-inch “Home Game” stadium panorama, a photographic letter collage spelling “OHIO STATE” using campus landmarks, and a black and white architectural montage. Most items feature school-colored red and grey matting.
