Description
A collection of vintage decorative porcelain, glassware, and household collectibles. The primary highlight is a Japanese export porcelain tea service featuring hand-painted figures in landscape scenes with vibrant orange accents and gilded rims. Pieces within the service bear the Dai Nippon mark in red on the undersides. The lot also includes a pressed glass commemorative plate molded with 1971 United States coinage, including the Eisenhower dollar and Kennedy half dollar. Glassware consists of an opalescent ruffled-rim hobnail vase, a tall clear glass vase with a ruffled rim, and a small lead crystal vase with a Cristal d’Arques France label. Also included is an iridescent-glazed footed bowl with purple floral decoration and gold-tone handles. Further tableware includes a Syracuse China Gold Riviera sugar bowl and cup, a B&W Thornton Romeo and Juliet mug from Stratford-upon-Avon, a clear glass mug with a red Welsh dragon, and a pair of iridescent-glazed salt and pepper shakers.
