Description
This antique German porcelain commemorative saucer features a white glazed body decorated with gilt and polychrome elements. The central circular medallion contains a depiction of two arms in military dress performing a handshake, positioned next to a floral spray of purple roses and green foliage. Surrounding the central image is a German inscription in black script. The text translates to: In memory of my son Werner with the 10th Company Foot Artillery Regiment Margrave Karl of Brandenburg No. 60 in Weissenburg 1907. The rim is decorated with a gilt band and stylized golden leaf motifs. The underside is undecorated and shows a recessed foot rim.
