Description
This collection features Taylor, Smith & Taylor (TST) Latona porcelain serving pieces and a vintage Mohawk Brand Kümmel liqueur bottle. The ceramic group consists of a large oval platter and several smaller oval dishes, each decorated with a central corn-on-the-cob motif signed R.R. Beck and finished with a gold-tone rim. The undersides of the porcelain pieces bear the TST LATONA manufacturer mark. The accompanying one-quart green glass bottle for Mohawk Brand Kümmel liqueur was produced by Manufacturing Liquorists in Detroit, Michigan. The bottle is embossed with the post-prohibition text Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-use of this Bottle and retains its original paper label and a State of Ohio tax stamp.
