Description
This antique Art Nouveau Victorian postcard album features a blue cover decorated with a floral and wooden fence motif and stylized script. The interior contains dark green cardstock pages with corner slots holding a collection of holiday-themed postcards, primarily featuring Christmas and New Year greetings. The cards depict traditional period imagery including angels, Santas, winter landscapes, and seasonal flora such as holly and poinsettias. Many postcards include handwritten correspondence and postmarks, with visible dates including 1908 and 1911. The collection includes international examples such as a French card titled Heureux Noel.
11 x 7.5 inches Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
