This early 20th-century mahogany dental cabinet is attributed to the American Cabinet Co. of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The piece features a two-part construction consisting of a multi-drawer base and a detachable upper hutch. The hutch is fitted with three doors featuring diamond-patterned textured glass, opening to a milk glass-lined interior with shelving, situated above a central horizontal mirror. The base is topped with a white milk glass or porcelain work surface. The lower section houses numerous graduated drawers with enameled metal interiors and decorative wooden knobs featuring inlaid quatrefoil motifs. The unit is supported by four tapered, fluted legs with metal glides. A historical newspaper clipping regarding the American Cabinet Co. is affixed to an interior surface. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
