Civil War 1904 history of Battery A, 1st Rhode Island Light Artillery. Written by former member Thomas M. Aldrich. This 408 page history includes numerous photographs of members, a muster list of the original members, roster of recruits, and list of members who did not return to Rhode Island with the unit in 1864, and a list of members killed in battle. The book is complete and in overall very good condition. The first few pages are detached but present During its term of service, Battery A was engaged in numerous battles including 1st Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Bristoe Station, and Cold Harbor. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
