Description
A British Enfield percussion short rifle featuring a two-band configuration. The lock plate is stamped with a crown over V.R. for Victoria Regina, the date 1862, and the name ENFIELD. The firearm is constructed with a dark wood stock and brass furniture, including the trigger guard and buttplate. It is equipped with a steel barrel, a metal ramrod stored in the under-barrel channel, and fixed front and rear sights. Metal sling swivels are attached to the forward barrel band and the underside of the buttstock, with a circular brass tag affixed to the rear swivel. This firearm is a pre-1898 antique. Total length: 39 inches. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check. We can hand out to you at pickup or ship to the address of your choice. In-house shipping available.
