Description
This Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-40 Krag. The firearm features a 30-inch steel barrel and the distinctive side-loading magazine system characteristic of the Krag-Jorgensen design. The wood stock has been modified from its original military configuration into a sporterized style. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the inscription U.S. MODEL 1898. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. 111689. The rifle retains its original bolt-action mechanism and internal magazine. Barrel length: 30 inches. In house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (Or other type of FFL) we can ship it to you, or hand it to you if you come here. If not we will have to ship to your Federal Firearms License recipient or you will need to undergo a background check here when you pickup. In-house shipping is available. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
