This lot features a Soviet Mosin-Nagant Model 1944 (M44) bolt-action carbine chambered in 7.62x54R. The barrel shank is dated 1944 and bears the Izhevsk arsenal mark of a triangle with an internal arrow, as well as a hammer and sickle within a wreath. The receiver is stamped with the serial number 27243 and modern import markings from R GUNS Carpentersville IL. The rifle is equipped with a dark-finished wooden stock and blued steel metal components. It includes an integrated side-folding cruciform bayonet. The bolt is marked with a non-matching serial number 9289, and the magazine floorplate shows partial matching digits 2745. Accompanying the rifle is a green canvas and leather sling and a textured brown dual-compartment ammunition pouch with leather fastening straps.
