Description
An assortment of vintage and antique buttons and sewing-related ephemera comprising various styles, materials, and periods. These items are buttons predominantly housed in two large black trays and include specimens manufactured from glass, metal, enameled porcelain, plastic, horn, and vegetable ivory. The collection features examples from the Victorian and Art Deco periods through the mid-20th century. Several specimens are organized for study, including buttons mounted on cards with handwritten labels such as Feldspar, Marie Bell, and Tarpon Scale, as well as individual pieces in small clear display boxes. Accompanying the buttons are promotional materials for a Michigan Fall Button Show, two spools of wire, a small box of colored wire snippets, and an embroidered patch. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $5 fee if you want to pick this lot up another day. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
