Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons featuring manufacturer sample cards and decorative glass pieces. The group includes two cards from the Eagle Button Co. Inc. of New York, displaying the Cove and Concord lines with four-hole and two-hole buttons in various colors and sizes, some with striated or marbled finishes. A third card from The State Button Co. contains dark, patterned buttons with a handwritten notation indicating they were imported from Italy. Two additional display boards feature decorative black glass buttons. One board holds pieces with faceted surfaces and intricate molded designs. The second board displays elongated black glass buttons embellished with gold, silver, and colorful painted or inlaid motifs including scrolls, paisley, and lattice patterns. These items are buttons manufactured primarily in the mid-20th century, with some pieces potentially dating to the earlier 20th century.

Smallest card: approximately 9 x 7 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
