Description
An assortment of Division III buttons dating from the early to mid-20th century, primarily constructed from celluloid and bakelite. These items are buttons presented on six categorized display cards with labels including Tight Tops Celluloid and Wafers Celluloid. The collection exhibits a range of Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern styles, featuring molded geometric patterns, painted floral and pictorial motifs, and inset rhinestones. Some examples include wood or paper-backed components, two-color celluloid, and glitter accents as noted by collector inscriptions. The buttons vary in shape, size, and color, representing a cross-section of period manufacturing techniques.
Display cards approximately 9 x 6 inches each. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
