Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons presented on several individual display sheets. The assortment includes a wide variety of materials such as gilt and silver-tone metals, mother-of-pearl, wood, clear and colored glass, and early plastics. The designs feature military-inspired crests and eagles, nautical anchors, floral and geometric patterns, and rhinestone-encrusted examples. Some pieces exhibit figural and heraldic motifs, while others are noted on the cards with handwritten labels such as wood or black glass. The buttons are of various sizes and construction methods, including shank and hole types.
Total width of three display cards: 18 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
