Description
This assortment of vintage decorative buttons is presented on a light blue display card labeled Ducks, Geese, and Chicken. These items are buttons manufactured using a diverse range of techniques and materials, including novelty figural shapes in molded plastic and resin, embossed metal with brass, silver, and patinated finishes, and transfer-printed porcelain. Notable specimens include a large circular cream-colored button featuring a detailed line drawing of a flying goose signed L. Harden, as well as several small porcelain buttons with bird scenes set within metal borders. The collection includes various styles such as hand-painted details, inset decorative stones, and enameled finishes.
