Description
This collection features Victorian metal picture buttons and vintage canine-themed buttons. The items are mounted on a labeled display board and are crafted from brass, horn, vegetable ivory, carved wood, luster glass, celluloid, mother-of-pearl, and steel. The buttons showcase various breeds through relief depictions, lithographs, and carvings, including the Borzoi, Bloodhound, King Charles Spaniel, Brussels Griffon, Boston Terrier, Labrador, and Pointer. Techniques include plated brass, lusted glass, and shell with brass overlays.
Display board width: 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
