Description
An extensive collection of vintage novelty buttons organized across four themed display boards. The collection includes buttons categorized as Fish (and Related), Elephant, Egyptian Themed, and Fashion Accessories. Construction materials consist of gold-tone and silver-tone metals, polychrome enamels, molded plastics, and iridescent shell. Specific forms include a textured gold-tone lobster, a sarcophagus, a winged scarab with inset stones, various stylized elephants, a miniature denim jacket, and a stone-encrusted handbag with an umbrella. One Egyptian-themed button features a hieroglyph backmark. The items are mounted on white perforated boards with printed labels and handwritten annotations.
Each display board measures approximately 9 inches in width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
