Description
This collection of buttons is presented on several descriptive mounting cards organized for study or display. The lot includes a Luckyday Color Reference Card from the Muscatine Pearl Works of Muscatine, Iowa, featuring circular buttons in various colors such as turquoise, canary, and burnt orange. A card titled BORDERS GROTESQUE CATS contains ornate metal buttons with filigree designs, a central cameo, and gemstone-style accents. Another card, labeled IMITATING STYLE OF, displays buttons designed to mimic materials including beadwork, leather, pewter, raffia, and enamel, accompanied by handwritten identifying notes. A final card titled IMM. FABRIC BLACK GLASS contains multiple black plastic buttons with intricate textures.
