Description
A collection of various oval-shaped vintage buttons, encompassing styles from the late 19th through the mid-20th centuries. The group includes items crafted from celluloid, carved shell and abalone, micro-mosaic enamel, faceted and cabochon glass, and various base metals. Notable pieces include a large relief-carved cameo depicting two profiles, a bronze-finish medallion with a classical scene of dancing figures and musical notation, a polychrome peacock design, and an intricate micro-mosaic floral button. The items are presented on a display board with handwritten notes indicating materials and construction such as shell in silver, celluloid, and pad back.
Display board height: 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
