Description
An assortment of buttons featuring acorn and oak leaf motifs in various styles and periods. The collection includes pieces crafted from cast metal, carved wood, molded plastic, mother-of-pearl, glass, and ceramic. Construction methods include casting, carving, molding, and hand-modeling. Notable items include a large circular beaded button featuring silver-tone oak leaves and turquoise-colored cabochons, several detailed brass-tone buttons, and a hand-modeled button depicting an oak branch against a blue sky. One metal item is marked pewter on the mounting board. An artist signature for Janet White is present on blue painter’s tape. The items are presented on a tan fabric-covered board labeled ACORNS.
Board: 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
