Description
This collection of cat buttons features a diverse assortment of materials and artistic styles mounted on a display board. The group includes hand-painted ceramic portrait buttons, carved wood buttons with pyrography details, enameled metal pins, and various silver-tone and gold-tone metal feline figures. Notable pieces include large circular ceramic buttons with realistic feline depictions, stylized stoneware cats, and molded relief designs in plastic and glass. The display board contains handwritten notations including Helen Cavner – 1981 and Papier-Craig Nancy Studio, along with a printed label reading CATS. One button is specifically marked ceramic in handwritten script. The collection includes various techniques such as transfer printing, hand-painting, and metal casting.
Board measures approximately 11 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
