Description
A collection of buttons featuring various stylized and artistic representations of cats, mounted on a display board. The assortment includes pieces crafted from a diverse range of materials including ceramic, carved wood, bone, shell, glass, acrylic, bamboo, and pewter. Decorative techniques observed include rhinestone embellishments, enamel, moveable eyes, paste eyes, neoprene cane work, and fired-on paint. Notable items include a paper studio button by Nancy Craig dated 2012. The lot is accompanied by a blue First Prize ribbon and a judging tag from the 2015 Buckeye State Button Society competition, identifying the group under classification 17-5.1. Display board: 10 inches height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
