Description
This collection of buttons features several display cards and sample boards showcasing a variety of materials and designs. A significant portion of the lot consists of antique Czech black glass buttons, many of which exhibit metallic luster finishes and molded patterns. One board titled Black Glass Buttons includes handwritten descriptions for styles such as Zodiac, Egyptian, and Paisley Shape, while another features black glass buttons arranged in a double oval pattern. The collection also contains a JHB International, Inc. sample card labeled From Serene to Opulent, dated 2004, showcasing navy and blue buttons with various finishes and gold-tone accents. A blue felt board labeled Engraved MOP holds mother-of-pearl buttons with intricate carvings, accompanied by a note stating Made in Thailand Modern – 2000. Additional cards display buttons in various shapes, including square and diamond, with diverse textures and tones.
