Description
An assortment of buttons categorized by material and construction, presented on several display cards. The collection includes modern glass buttons in various colors including gray, blue, and clear, featuring shapes such as violins, leaves, and peacocks. A group of flat disk construction buttons consists of metallic pieces with raised floral and geometric patterns. Spherical buttons categorized as balls include filigree metalwork, enameled designs, and smooth bone-colored examples. Larger decorative pieces include a gold-toned button featuring a profile labeled LOUIS XIV, wire-wrapped floral motifs, and hand-painted inserts. One blue glass button is noted as metal bound and contains dried botanical-like inclusions. The items are mounted on white cardstock with printed labels identifying the categories.
Display cards: 9 inches by 6 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
