Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons organized and mounted on multiple labeled display cards. The assortment includes various categories such as painted and buffed celluloid, tight top celluloid, and oversized celluloid examples. The collection features a wide array of geometric and novelty forms including octagons, diamonds, crescents, and teardrop shapes. Decorative techniques include intricate floral and scrollwork patterns, bold geometric motifs, and abstract designs. Materials represented throughout the collection include celluloid, various metals with some specimens specifically marked as Georgian Steel, and potentially glass or enamel. Display cards measure approximately 9 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
