Description
This collection of buttons is mounted on two separate display boards, featuring a categorized sample card of Czech antique glass buttons. The first board, characterized by a textured tan surface, organizes specimens under printed headers for DIMI – GLASS, BLACK GLASS, and GLASS IN METAL, with a notation of 140 per sheet. These glass specimens exhibit various manufacturing techniques including millefiori, faceted glass, lampwork, and gold gilt detailing. Specific types are identified by handwritten labels such as Dragonfly, Gaumond, Cherry Blossom, Rosette Shank, and Satin. The second board, bordered in blue cardstock, contains an assortment of buttons in glass, metal, plastic, and shell. This group includes a variety of colors and sizes, with shapes including rounds, stars, and hearts. Construction methods include embossed metal, molded plastic, and carved shell.
