Description
A collection of glass buttons presented on two labeled display cards. One card, designated Modern Glass Painted, contains various small, round and shaped buttons decorated with hand-painted floral sprays, geometric patterns, and several small cameos. The second card, labeled Med. C&C Glass Pictorials, showcases larger glass buttons featuring molded and painted pictorial designs, including various animals such as swans, horses, birds, and insects, as well as human figures in traditional dress and floral motifs. Manufacturing techniques include casing, luster finishes, and metallic rimming. Several pieces are accompanied by handwritten notations such as Cased, Believed Cased, and Impressed (and lustered).
Each card measures approximately 11.5 inches by 9 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $5 fee if you want to pick this lot up another day. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
