Description
A collection of antique and vintage buttons presented on three display boards, featuring a diverse range of materials and decorative techniques. The assortment includes faceted glass, china-painted glass, micro mosaics, Art Nouveau designs, peacock eye glass, and various metal-mounted settings. Technical methods represented include enamel, celluloid, leather, white metal, reverse intaglio, foil inclusions, and acid etching. One board is specifically titled Weskits (Glass in Metal). The collection is accompanied by a First Prize ribbon from the 2005 Buckeye State Button Society, featuring judge’s comments on the variety of colors and specific specimens such as reverse intaglio and micro mosaic. Ruler: 18 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
