Description
These items are buttons professionally mounted on display cards, featuring a collection of black glass pictorial competition buttons alongside examples of diverse synthetic and natural materials. The black glass buttons display molded motifs including flora, fauna, classical figures, ships, and buildings, with some examples exhibiting gold-tone, silver, or blue luster highlights. The assortment also includes buttons constructed from polystyrene, imitation tortoise, and reverse-carved polymer. Notable specimens include Stonecast resin buttons with intricate floral textures, described as polyester with stone, and a button made from nut shell pieces labeled as handmade in Europe during the 1950s. The collection is organized with printed and handwritten labels. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
