Description
This collection features several display cards containing an assortment of vintage and antique buttons. The grouping includes an orange card showcasing novelty designs such as a yellow duck, a red heart, and various floral and geometric motifs in metallic and colorful plastic finishes. A white card inscribed Sallie Gibson 50 holds multiple rows of colorful glass buttons, including examples with floral patterns and faceted surfaces. A third card titled GLASS SEW-THRU presents a symmetrical arrangement of smaller glass buttons. The final card, titled A Jesse Tree, features buttons organized within a hand-drawn tree shape, with an attached typed legend identifying each button as a biblical symbol, including a star, a bell, and a red apple. Materials represented throughout the collection include glass, metal, molded plastic, and mother-of-pearl.
Display cards: approximately 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
