Description
A collection of antique celluloid buttons presented on two exhibition display boards. One board, titled ONE-PIECE THIRTIES, contains several large molded buttons featuring relief motifs such as airplanes, animals, athletes, and dancers, many with an antiqued two-tone finish. The second board is a prize-winning entry from the Buckeye State Button Society, complete with a blue FIRST PRIZE ribbon and a judge’s score sheet. This board categorizes the buttons by type, including floral, geometric, and realistic forms, with some featuring painted accents, metal elements, or small glass pastes. The score sheet identifies the items as CELLULOID – SPEC. TO INSERTED BACKS. These items are buttons mounted for display and competition.
Each board measures approximately 9 inches in width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $5 fee if you want to pick this lot up another day. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
