Description
This collection of buttons is professionally mounted and labeled on a display board prepared for the 2016 Buckeye State Button Society show. These items are buttons representing a diverse array of materials, including black glass, vegetable ivory, horn, laser-cut shell, fabric, and various metals such as brass, sterling silver, aluminum, pewter, and crystallized tin. Other materials present include jade, Burwood, casein, Masonite, and composition. The button subjects are categorized by active themes such as hatching, bucking, scything, watching, traveling, balancing, praying, and wrestling. Notable items include a blue-and-white Jasperware-style ceramic button depicting a large group of people and a multi-stone swimming fish glass-in-metal button. The collection is accompanied by a third-place green ribbon and the corresponding official entry form from the 2016 show.
Display board: 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
