Description
This collection of buttons is presented on a mounting card titled Lions and Lambs. These are buttons crafted from a diverse array of materials including copper, wood, horn, tooth ivory, casein, leather, earthenware, glass, polymer clay, and acrylic. The assortment features realistic representations of lions in high-relief metal alongside whimsical, hand-painted ceramic and glass sheep figures. Notable examples include a large circular copper-toned rampant lion button, a domed black button with gold-tone Zodiac The Ram imagery, and various studio-made pieces.
