Description
This collection of antique fashion buttons features various Victorian and late 19th-century designs. These items are buttons constructed from gold-toned and antiqued brass metal, showcasing ornate filigree, sunburst, floral, and geometric motifs. Many examples are inset with faceted or cabochon glass and agate jewels in deep red and purple hues. One specimen includes a German backmark reading GESETZL. GESCHÜTZT. The mounting card includes printed labels identifying the group as (NOT) GAY 90S VICTORIAN JEWELS along with handwritten notations.

Individual buttons: approximately 0.75 to 1.5 inches in diameter Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
