Description
Someone asked for more info on the GW button – it is a repro I have added a photo of the back. This collection of buttons is presented across several themed display cards, including categories for gentleman’s buttons, fables, habitat, and political usage. The grouping features a diverse range of materials and techniques, such as pressed wood, black glass with iridescent or mother-of-pearl centers, brass, and silver-toned metals. Several buttons bear manufacturer markings, including H.T. & SONS BIRM and H&L PHA & NY. Also included is a silver-toned commemorative button for the 200th anniversary of the 1787 Northwest Ordinance from the Buckeye State Button Society.
