Description
This collection consists of antique and vintage buttons featuring two-piece construction. These items are buttons primarily composed of various metals in brass, copper, and silver tones. Decorative elements include embossed and openwork designs with floral motifs, geometric patterns, and figurative symbols such as anchors and animal forms. Several examples incorporate additional materials including mother of pearl, thread binding, and fabric, while others utilize steel cups or glass stone accents. The buttons exhibit a range of patinas and textured finishes.
Mounting board: 11 x 8.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
