Description
A collection of buttons fashioned from or designed to resemble various international and United States currency. The assortment includes buttons featuring the designs of an 1857 Seated Liberty dime, a Buffalo nickel, and a Mercury dime. International examples include a button modeled after a Maria Theresa Thaler restrike with the inscription M. THERESIA D.G. R. IMP. HU. BO. REG. and an 1898 Mexican coin that has been intricately cut out. The group also contains a domed silver-toned button with a Walking Liberty half dollar motif and a gold-toned medallion button featuring a central profile within a decorative border. The items are composed of various silver-colored and gold-toned metals. The collection is presented on a white display board.
Display board: 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
