Description
A collection of 19th century Victorian era celluloid buttons featuring elaborate layered and ornamental designs. These items are buttons constructed with celluloid bases and various decorative overlays including metallic filigree, faux tortoiseshell patterns, and iridescent finishes. The circular forms are embellished with central floral and starburst motifs, many of which are accented by inset paste stones or rhinestones. The collection is presented on two white mounting boards with handwritten notations such as 4 hole and pearl center, along with printed labels identifying the group as Victorian Celluloid and Division I.

Buttons: 0.75 inches to 1.25 inches in diameter Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
