Description
A collection of antique Golden Age type buttons dating to the early to mid-19th century, presented on a labeled display card. These buttons are constructed without American manufacturer backmarks and are primarily composed of gold-toned metals with various gilt finishes. The assortment includes a range of embossed decorative motifs such as floral, foliate, and geometric designs, as well as heraldic and uniform patterns. The display card features handwritten notations identifying specific quality marks and manufacturers including B. Burnham Extra, D. Evans Co., Rich Treble Gilt, Extra Fein, and Rich Orange. The collection contains buttons in various sizes and shapes, including circular and square profiles.
Display card: 11 x 8.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
