Description
This collection of antique breeches buttons is dated between 1690 and 1730. These items are buttons featuring various faceted glass or crystal stones in square, round, and scalloped shapes. Many examples are designed with decorative backings visible through the stones, including several with gold-toned monograms or insignias. The collection includes pieces set in silver and others noted as gold-plated. One specific item is identified by handwritten notation as a beryl gemstone. The buttons are presented on a white display board.
Display board: 8.5 x 11 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
