This collection of professional barbering tools and accessories primarily dates from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. The group features multiple straight razors with steel blades and handles constructed of celluloid, plastic, and decorative materials. Notable makers identified through tang stamps and original branded cases include George Wostenholm and Sons (I*XL), Wade and Butcher, E. Boker and Company (Unrivaled), Solingen Razor Company, Geneva Cutlery Corporation (Pyramid Brand), Gebr. Bell, and Vom Cleff and Company. One specific razor by Lafayette Cutlery Company features an embossed peacock design on the cream-colored handle. The lot also includes several pairs of barbering and thinning scissors by makers such as Clauss and V.J. Collins Company, a manual hair clipper set, and miscellaneous accessories including a Diamond Match Company metal tin and vintage paper packets for Gem Damaskeene and Carborundum blades. Many razors are accompanied by their original cardboard or leather cases. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
