Description
17th c. Oil on Panel of a Pastoral Scene depicting a shepherding dog, cows, and a rider on a horse presumably herding the cattle. The plaque on the front identifies Frederic de Moucheron and Adrian van de Velde –artists that were known to work collaboratively in the 1600s. There is a wax seal stamped M on the back of the panel as well as a period ink inscription of A.v.V. The reverse also bears an early pasted label reading "Original Adrian van de Velde und Moucheron (1639-1672). Framed size is 18" x 16". Sight size is 10" x 8". In-house shipping available. Pickup is Monday, July 31st from 11am to 4pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will collect 6.75% for Ohio residents, or whatever your state/local sales tax rate is for all out-of-state buyers unless you are tax exempt.
